OMF Year-End Day of Prayer

Last week, we led a day of prayer using a prayer guide that our international headquarters had prepared. It was a great privelage to pray for the needs of Asia. Here is what we did in our four sessions:

SECTION 1 9:00 to 10:15 (Downstairs Sala)

Reading from Hebrews 1

Worship

  • 290 Jesus is Lord
  • 9 All Hail the Power 1st stanza only
  • 482 Rejoice the Lord is King 1st four stanzas
  • 1383 Jesus, God’s Righteousness Revealed

Personal Application and Prayer

  • Share a story of God’s sovereignty in your life—a victory or a struggle

 

SECTION 2 10:30-11:45 (Upstairs Conference Room—can use offices, library etc)

Reading from Hebrews 2

Worship

  • 290 Jesus is Lord 2nd stanza
  • 559 To God be the Glory 1st two stanzas
  • 1419 Light of the World
  • 633 You laid aside your majesty
  • Conclude before lunch with 1170 And I’m Forgiven

Personal Application and Prayer

  • How does His identity/humanity encourage you?
  • What is hard for you about servanthood?

 

SECTION 3 1:00 -2:15 (Upstairs Conference Room—can use offices, library etc)

Reading from Hebrews 11-12
